Bought this kind of skeptically because my partner kept stealing my regular brush. I have thick wavy hair that tangles like crazy after the gym. Honestly didn't expect much but the spaced-out pins move through it really smoothly, no yanking at the back of my head where it usually knots the worst. The grip on the handle is also legit — it doesn't twist around in your hand when your hair's wet. Solid build, doesn't feel cheap or hollow. Would buy again.

I've used the classic Denman-style brushes for years and this dual-sided version makes more sense to me. Why carry two brushes when one flips? Detangle, then define. Simple.

The curl-defining side is the real star here. Dense pins, and they sculpt my curls into a really smooth finish without making them stringy. Took a couple tries to get my technique down but now it's part of my routine.

Does what it says. Two sides, one for knots, one for shaping. Handle's comfortable, doesn't slip. No complaints.

My hair is on the finer side and most brushes either skip the tangles or rip right through them. The wide-spaced pins actually catch the knots and work them out gently. Pleasantly surprised by how smooth it feels.

Great for my 2B waves. The detangling side is gentle and the defining side gives my hair more shape than my old paddle brush ever did. Comfortable to hold too.
